On Tuesday, June 15, Kristen Purcell met with editors and staff at the offices of The Philadelphia Inquirer to present “News Consumption 2010: Portable, Participatory and Personal,” a talk she originally gave at the University of Pennsylvania’s Communications Retreat on May 21, 2010.  The talk highlights how today’s changing information ecology, specifically the increasing use of social media and mobile technologies, has altered the way consumers access and interact with news and information.
