Our May 2011 tracking survey contains data on mobile phone ownership and usage, as well as profile management on social networking sites.
Important note for analysis of mobile activities: To analyze certain mobile activities questions (Q14a through Q14h; Q17a through Q17i; and Cell11a through Cell11c) based on all cell owners, use the “total” version in the data set (i.e. Q14atot instead of Q14a, Q17atot instead of Q17a, Cell11atot instead of Cell11a). The topline data and crosstabulation files have been recalculated based on all cell owners for these questions.
Contains raw survey data file in SPSS format. (Note: All raw data files include a weight variable that should be used in analysis and is identified as the variable "WEIGHT." Please check and make sure that the weight variable is turned on before you begin your analysis.)
Contains raw survey data file in comma-delimited (.csv) format. (Note: All raw data files include a weight variable that should be used in analysis and is identified as the variable "WEIGHT." Please check and make sure that the weight variable is turned on before you begin your analysis.)

Contains a topline data file in Word format. The topline lists the overall percentages for each question, and includes trend data to previous surveys in which we have asked each question where applicable.

It also includes all interviewer prompts and programming filters for outside researchers who would like to see how our questions are constructed or use our questions in their own surveys.
